Gaddesden Estate Ride

Gaddesden Estate Ride

With the ever increasing traffic on our roads, what could be better than riding your horse through an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty?  The estate is well supplied with farm roads, tracks, woodland rides and a five furlong gallop. There are 28 jumps, mostly 2ft – 3ft 3ins, which are suitable for novice horses and riders.  No dogs are allowed on the ride (even though a special member of the family is pictured!)

The Gaddesden countryside is an enchanting mixture of parkland, arable and grazing interspersed with ancient woodland, much of it overlooking the lovely valley of the River Gade.

Click here for further information and how to apply for membership of the Gaddesden Estate Ride. We will be accepting applications from Monday 22nd May ready for the start of the new ride year on 1st June 2017.

An Equestrian Medical Card must be carried whilst riding on the Estate Ride and can be downloaded here.

We are proud to have the support of the British Horse Society who run ‘Park and Ride’ days throughout the summer.  Our Park & Rides are held on the final Sunday of every month between April and August. In September we hold a special, longer ride, with proceeds from the day going to the Gaddesden Riding for the Disabled and the BHS. To book a place on a Park and Ride event visit Equo Events.

We will continue to use Equo Events for online entries to our Park and Ride events. Equo allows you to enter quickly and pay securely via your computer, smartphone or tablet, wherever you are.

After you have registered, your rider and horse information will be saved so you only have to enter this once. If you would like to speak to a member of the customer services team or have any queries please email [email protected] for support 7 days a week.
