Gaddesden livery

Many horse owners find difficulty in obtaining safe and secure grazing for their horses and ponies, particularly in the Home Counties.

Gaddesden have been providing high quality do-it-yourself livery for over a quarter of a century. We have stables at Gaddesden Place, 20 boxes, Marsh Farm, 11 boxes and Mill Hill Farm, six stalls.

Indoor schooling facilities are available by arrangement with the Riding for the Disabled Association, Gaddesden Place group.

Livery clients have a chance to join Gaddesden Riding for a discounted membership fee, where they can generally ride direct on to the estate roads and tracks without having to go on to the public road.

Although we have been fortunate in the amount of interest in our grazing with stables if required, we still have a few places based on Avery's Yard, at Gaddesden Place Stables.
