Peaceful holiday let in Burnham Overy Staithe

Staithe Barn is a first floor apartment in a converted maltings with spectacular views of the picturesque village of Burnham, its creek and marshes. The apartment is 100 yards from the Norfolk coast, renowned for its long stretches of unspoiled beaches.

Accommodation

Staithe Barn sleeps five or six. The accommodation is as follows: Entrance hall and stairs leading to spacious sitting/dining room. The kitchen leads off the dining room and has an electric cooker, fridge, freezer, spin dryer and iron. The sitting room has a colour TV, video, 2 x 3 seater sofas - one is a very comfortable sofa bed.

The balcony is approached from the dining room through French windows. It is a spacious sitting area and is provided with patio furniture.

The passage from the sitting room has the smaller bedroom on one side, with a single bed and "Z" bed and cot. On the other side of the passage are the shower and bathroom which both have a basin and WC.

At the end of the passage are the two twin bedrooms. One has a wash basin and the airing cupboard with twin/double zip linked bed. A high chair is provided in the dining room.

All the bedrooms, the sitting room and the kitchen have double glazed skylights. The flat is carpeted throughout except the kitchen which has vinyl flooring.

Heating and hot water are provided by Economy 7 electricity supplied by a £1 meter. Lighting, power and the alternative immersion heater are supplied by a £1 slot meter.

The beds are provided with combination quilts (summer & winter Tog) and pillows. Sheets, quilt covers, pillowcases will be provided. We also provide bath mats, pedestal mats, towels and tea-towels.

As there is only a limited time for cleaning between holidays we would very much appreciate it if you could keep the barn reasonably clean and tidy and leave it as you would like to find it.

The open nature of the balcony may not be suitable for small children and pets although it does have good wooden railings round it. Please do not bring cats or dogs.
