Many horse owners find difficulty in obtaining
safe and secure grazing for their horses
and ponies, particularly in the Home Counties.
Gaddesden has been providing high quality
Do-It-Yourself livery for over a quarter
of a century.

There are two different facilities we can
offer:
Livery We have paddocks
with associated yards at Gaddesden Place Stables (12 boxes), Marsh Farm (11
loose boxes) and Mill Hill Farm where the
Loch Creran Clydesdale heavy horses are
based.
|
Exclusive Paddocks We have
a number of self contained well fenced paddocks,
with horse shelters and water troughs for
people who prefer to keep their horses independently.
The paddocks are harrowed and rolled in the
spring and topped through the summer to
control weeds.

Livery clients have the chance to join
Gaddesden
Riding for a discounted membership,
where they can generally ride direct onto
the estate roads and tracks without having
to go onto the public road.

The Gaddesden Place Riding and Driving for the Disabled Group
provides riding facilities and instruction for people with physical and/or mental disabilities.
We welcome disabled riders and carriage
drivers 6 days a week working with people
of all ages and all types of ability and
disability.
Our aims are that through all forms of
contact with horses, from handling, grooming,
riding, driving to competing up to championship
level, we encourage people to make the most
of themselves and their lives.
