The Friends of Great Gaddesden Church are holding a Sponsored Ride round the estate on Sunday 12th September.
This event has been held several times in the past and has proved very to be a successful and enjoyable time for all involved.

A Midsummer Night's Dream at Gaddesden Estate
What a wonderful evening we all had being entertained by Oddsocks Productions! Guests started arriving at 6.00 p.m. to enjoy their picnics or to have lamb and mint burgers cooked by Reg Cornthwaite of Grove Farm Meats and a drink from the Real Ale and Pimms Bar run by Tim Brown. Emails to the Oddsocks website refer to " a great setting, fabulous atmosphere and fantastic production" which combined with the beautiful summer's evening made a very successful event. Emails to our office have been equally complimentary and asked us to invite Oddsocks again next year.
