Oakengrove Yard lies at the heart of the Home Farm Business Centre. It takes its name from the former Oakengrove Herd of Pedigree British Friesian cows, which were milked at the Home Farm until 1992. They in turn were named from Oaken Grove,the historic woodland adjoining the farm, The Victorian "model farm" buildings, dating from the 1870s, were converted to offices in 1997.
